Mas Band Presentation
The presentation for this season is dedicated to the local calypsonians who have contributed to the development of the Grenadian carnival product. Dubbed ''Kaiso Kaiso'' the presentation will feature eight colorful sections accompanied by a King and Queen and individual section leaders.
The Mas Camp will be located at the village, with a Secretariat which will allow for the registration of masqueraders, and the construction of costumes.
One of the objectives of Commancheros and Associates is the preservation of the traditional aspects of our carnival and the group has had a history of including young people in the construction of costumes and accessories .This aspect will continue this year and will seek to integrate more of the secondary and tertiary institutions in this process.
The Mas Band for this years' presentation will be accompanied by traditional steel band music and a live D.J. This decision was arrived at as a deliberate attempt at bridging the generation gap and also to cater for a wider cross section of participants.
Registration with the Band is all inclusive and will include participation in the Jouvert presentation, food and refreshments for the Parade of the Bands.
Music provided by the best beating band on the road Commancheros Steel Orcestra and Grenada's number one sound Judah Sound System.
The Band is all inclusive. Toilet facilities provided.
